as most of our cars are likely reaching 75,000 Mile or 150,000Km on the clock does switching to an oil like Valvoline MaxLife make sense? how about switching to fully synthetic (AmsOil, Mobil 1) at this age? what would YOU do?
I have recently switched to 10w-30 Valvoline Synthetic Durablend.
Wow!
Big difference, this oil allows my engine to run at un-godly amount of rpm's. I can easily run my engine at 8k without it ruining. I have used this oil for the past 10k miles. and i plan to keep using it. Its been the best I have ever tried.
Thanks
Zack

Good choice! I use Valvoline Durablend 10W30 for my both Mazdas with great results. This oil really helped me to overcome valve lifters noise (common problem on these cars when oil gets dirty).
