Picked it up today from the transport deppo
I bought it from Adelaide jap imports for $2200 with gearbox.

Some minor damage during shipping, top of the dip stick has been snapped off, distributor cap smashed (which doesn't matter) and a few small dents in the sump.

The short section of the clutch line that is in a metal tube near the slave cylinder has been cut off and removed.

The car it's going into

Stay tuned for updates...

hmm looks to be in very good condition

very interesting you managed to get one so easily, a few weeks back ad jap had none at all, and didnt see themselves getting anymmore for a while.

Good luck, the ZE swap is WELL worth it
That motor looks pretty smick to me..
He mate your car is a ge2 yea? (or is it just the rims)
You will probably have to get your self a chip from the US to make that intake work properly (just a heads up if you didn’t know)
Again looks tops mate..
Looks nics  the swap isnt hard just take you time and you will have it in in no time and you don't have to get the chip form the usa an australian member stoker100 makes them to
isnt he just copying someone elses work? or is it his own tune

It's a 95 so OBD1 but with the newer rims.
I have ordered a chip for it from probinator.

Yeah they had it in stock when i called up. I must have just been lucky.

It is his own tune as far as i know i just think it would be a bit easier because he is in aus, i would have got my chip from him but i didnt know he was selling them
Good Stuff. Look forward to the updates on the install.
Well done mate, hopefully the insides as clean as the outside because that thing is shiny. Best of luck, and dont forget to install new clutch, headers and belts to save you $$
so stoker the way i understand it your arent actually producing any eeproms yet, just information on where the particular maps are within the eeprom. This may in fact be useful to me, however atm i dont have the time to go hex editing :(
I am producing EPROM's, ive sold plenty so far. ive also developed software to run in conjunction with an emulator for tuning while driving (on a laptop). which i have used on my own car about 500000x times now.
Did a compression test today

1. 140
2. 110
3. 115
4. 130
5. My gauge didn't reach this cylinder
6. 160

Don't know what to make of the results, The engine wouldn't have been oiled very well and the starter wasn't as powerful as it normally is due the the way i had it hooked up.

Nipple on the back of the IM bent, dent in one of the VRIS actuators and VRIS solenoid slightly smashed but i think it's still salvageable.

I did another compression test today with the starter hooked up a little better and got;

1. 180
2. 170
3.
4. 160
5.
6. 165

So it looks like it could be ok.
i got 205 all round on my ZE, but its important to have a good battery, disconnect the fuel lines (not a problem if the engines not installed) and leave the TB all the way open from what i have heard. either way a minimum of 160 is a lot better then 110
Headers turned up today.
I'm still waiting to hear back from RR Racing about a clutch, flywheel and engine mount inserts. (It's been over a week now)

what stage clutch are you getting?

Edit: Also if you are planing on getting the Outlaw Engineering spacers i wouldnt bother total waste on money IMO
Either stage 1 or 2. No i wasn't planning on getting Outlaw spacers. But i'm not real sure where to get new IM gaskets for the ZE.
US ebay or look for eunos 800 gaskets i think they have square ports. And i was going to get the stage 1 but there wasnt any in stock so i got the stage2 for and extra $30 and i am so glad i did it is just as smooth as the stock clutch and it isnt any harder on your foot. i couldnt recomend it more
