I took a bit of a road trip and I noticed that there was quite a bit of vibration in the passenger compartment of the car once I reached certain speeds (70mph). I didn't slow down or anything but just let the car keep going at the speed. Nothing bad went wrong except the vibrations. Do any of you have any ideas on what the prob. would be? My manual tells me to set tire pressures at 32(psi) up front and 26 on back, does that have any effect? thanx

you may also want to get better rated tired, cause crappy tires will do that....get y or z rated tires if you continually go over 70/80 mph(is that right? it's what I was told)

Another thing to check would be the shape of your tyres.

If you don't have ABS it's quite possible that a large "skid" has given you a flat spot on the tyre. No amount of balance is going to fix this.

It's also quite impossible to spot with the naked eye, so get the wheels balanced and they'll tell you.
