any way to rig vris for more power? some people remove it, some tie it. i searched probetalk cause someone mentioned they had it on thei bulletin board. couldnt find it. TALK TO ME. any successful experiments?
Don't bother. Unless you have a pretty modified engine the VRIS plates are tunned to give the engine a good even torque band over most of the rpm range. While it is ture that you will gain a little top end by removing them or tying them open it's not worth the low end loss. If you have the manifold port and polished or are using force induction then it's a different matter, but in most cases it's not worth it.
