Looking at the amount of movement on the engine when revving it i'd say that one or more of the engine mounts is stuffed.

Problem is I dont know how many there are on the DE. I know theres one at the rear, just off centre as Matty_Daak wanted one and asked me to look on the breaker car but it was shot. I didnt really pay attention to any others but I reckon there must be one above the gearbox and 1 at the front?

I've looked in probe store and they want £70 for 1 mount, ouch!

Just wondered if anyone has any or knows where I can get them cheaper.

Cheers

Hi Windy

£70 is about right for a new one.

I got the probestores front and back - cadmiums with poly inserts. shipped £180 + £60 fitting.

Feel the engine when it starts up now - rumbles up through your seat.

Elmer I've got those fitted as well - I know exactly what you mean mate. Fitted them myself when I did the engine change on my driveway lol.

Windy - There are four mounts, one on each side, one near the EGR system, and one on the crossmember at the front.

Good luck.

Ben.

I'd better have a look at which ones are stuffed, then have a little prayer before I look at my bank account.

As an alternative...

Take them off, one or two at a time, and fill them up with butyl rubber, or windscreen fixing mastic..

it should stiffen them up a treat.
