Desperately need a pair of good front calipers so I can put the car in for an MOT.

When I went in Halfords yesterday they listed 2 different sets of pads, 1 for 92-93 and 1 for 94 onwards.

Does this mean I will have to find calipers off a 92 car or will any mx6/probe calipers do.

Any help is appreciated, thanks

As far as I'm aware there isn't a difference in the revisions of MX-6's in terms of brake pads. The only potential difference in the Calipers could be to do with ABS sensor setup. I would have a look at Probestore and see what Mark can do. His prices aren't bad usually, and he gets things out to you pretty sharpish.

Ben.

Cheers chap. Ive asked a few Probe guys to see what they say so will have a hunt around and see what people think.

Dont really want to spend megabucks on the car at the moment, just want to get it mot'd and the brakes seem the only thing needed.

Got the front and rear brake disks and pads for £65 which I was well chuffed with.

Think i'm going to need a rear engine mount too as the engine moves a bit.
