first i have a 91 323 not a mx6, but i cant find a good board, and i know some poeple have similar probs so i hope u guys can help me out..
i dont have a/c just heat/fan
when it rains i get water drippin from underneath the glovebox area. and this was when i parked it under the rain for 5 hours..
any ideas?

it might be a windshield seal behind the trim on top of the windshield.....it happened in my girlfriends escort...water all in the dash and glove box area....was always trying to figure out why surface rust had appeared backed there....

Probably the fresh air intake for the vent. It is in the cowl on the pass. side. My 6 leaks there and has for quite some time. the windshield usually leaks from the top, not the bottom.

what if you have air-con and it leaks after using it(no rain and from the same spot)??

The drain tube is probably clogged.

With A/C, the drain tube may just not be plugged in all the way. Get under the glove compartment and look for a little hose that runs into the engine compartment (you can see this hose from the engine side, too) and make sure it is plugged in all the way into the black box and also sticking through the firewall.
