Doesn't really do anything. It's connected to your stock airbox. If you're putting in a CAI, you don't need it. I took mine out after I hooked my CAI up, and everything ran smooth. You'll just have a couple of loose wires.
Since you're OBD-II I can help ya out...the one with the brown electrical clip is your FPR solenoid and the other is the EGR Boost sensor solenoid. The nipple that has the vac hose still attached is what goes to your EGR Boost Sensor (i recall that because of the special bends in the hose The other nipple goes to the vac nipple on the #3 intake runner.
