well that should have told you something... thats 300 more answers than in this thread.. maybe take the 5-10 minutes it would take to skim those?

but in terms of "good" what do you mean.. a good sound? good performance gains? good rust resistant qualities? good looking?

you probably wont get too much more performance out of just a muffler. you will still have the same piping as before but it will make it louder. i have a JIC Ti bullet muffler on 2.5" mandrel bent cat back piping. i suggest if you are looking for more power gains then go with a system of somekind. either buy one or go to an exhaust shop and have em build you one.

If they are some decent muffler, they should be about the same. I don't know about those ebay muffler, but most of them are about the same, like Borla, 5Zigen, Tenzo, OBX, etc. the difference is on the sounds, and you probably wanna get a str8 thru one that made outta SS

HKS, Borla, Greddy... all decent mufflers. The mufflers will cost you about 250, but with the cat back and installation, it'll cost anywhere from 400-600... but well worth it if you have mods on your engine.

if your going for a system the pacesetter and the greddy both have the highest power gains and most like the sound of the borla best. i personally think the pacesetter is the best bet becaus of the performance and price. but as you can see its a trade off so you just need to figure out your priorities

I've never heard a Pacesetter exhaust that sounded good, in my opinion. Also don't like the quality of their parts, but that's just me.

the sound is all opinion many people say the pacesetter sounds exotic. and im guessing the quality issue your thinking of is the absance of a flex pipe and the rusting of thier .headers. but if you had the money id def, say go with greddy;)

Magnaflow. One of the best sounding exhausts imo. Sounds better then Greddy, again my opinion.

Get Magnaflow.
I have a magnaflow too and I love it :D

Same man. I find HKS, Apexi, Greddy, etc. all to be too high pitched even on a V6. Magnaflow sounds sooooo much deeper in mine and a few buddy's opinions.
Comparing some friend's MX-3s (one KLZE and one KLDE) and the one with the Magnaflow just sounds better.

Borla is another nice deep exhuast however little bit of info for a a stang guy here. Saleen use to use Borla on their cars till they found out the Magnaflow flowed better.

Dynomax Ultra Flow.

I put one on a V6 S10 I had and everyone thought I put a 350 in the truck.

Nice deep rumble, no bee hive noise, and nice flow.

They come stock on Porsche cars, so that has to say something about them. ;)

If that's too much $$$ for ya, get a Dynomax Super Turbo.

As far as mandrel bent pipes, etc. Go to JC Whitney and buy "x" amount of their pre-bent pipes and make your own cat-back. The HP/$$ ratio is much better.

I have seen the GReddy exhaust say it only fits on the V6 (NOPIOnline) and i have seen one that doesnt have any specifics (Corksport). does the greddy fit the I4 or does it only fit on the V6?
