hey i have a 96' mx6 I4 with cold air intake, headers, high flow cat, 2 1/2" piping and a stainless steal exhaust. I was thinking about some plugs and then cams, then a programmer? Any comments?

I don't think there's a preogrammer for this car. There maybve be reprogrammed ECUs available, but I can assure you the gains you would see from it would be minimal at best. Not worth the money. Thgere's a FAQ about 4 banger mods. I'd skim through it and you may get some ideas.
