Here's the deal i got 140,000 miles my mx6 4 cyl and was wondering when to rebiuld it becuse im starting to get beat by cars that i used to eat up im starting to worry about my car. At that should i rebiuld it or put a j-spec in it???
If you decide to rebuild it plan out in advance what changes or upgrades you would like to make to it, since it is the perfect time to fit things such as a turbo and other components that may be difficult to install before hand. Also it will be much cheaper this way too.
IMHO, I would rebuilt your current engine rather than get a JSPEC. It will be cheaper this way, since the jspec, I've heard, requires additional work to get it to fit North American emission standards.
