Hey guys,

I'm at work, so I'll keep this short and sweet so the IT admin don't kill me.

Where can I get a KIA Fe dohc? I've been having a close look at the conversion I want to do with my 808 and reckon that the water pump on the Mazda FE Dohc will actually go INTO my firewall, meaning I'd have to get the firewall cut and have a hole in it etc....

The dizzy would've been the same, but you can pretty much opt for coil packs like the Kia FE Dohc, hence eliminating the need for a dizzy anyway.

Also, the engine mounts would be different hence my need for a Kia FE Dohc. Even if it was just the head, I could use my Mazda block.

So yeh, anyone know?

I've already sussed out a nice gearbox combination that I'll be getting soon. I've decided it'll be Microtech MTX-8 so I can run the 4 coil packs.

My small input is that I have no idea. What I can say is that I was talking to a tow truck driver and he said that the cars he has on his truck most often are kia's and daewoo's. Take from it what you will....

you would probably find a Kia FE DOHC in a Kia with that engine

Ring a few Sydney places, sorry I can't help much

But there is a specialist I read I think at merchanics shop that does parts- for Asian imports Kia to Proton , new seconds hand motor all the rest. If I get a chance I will try and pass the info onto you.
