i don't think they did anything special on the 626s so take out ur radio and all the side panels on that part and you should see it bolted to the frame right there

It would be easier to get to if you remove the bottom panels on the base of the dash(right next to the gas pedal).

thats what i was talking about, there called kick panels but most people don't know they have a name, i know on my mx6 i could get it all off by just taking those off but it was a little easier taking the radio bezzle off as well and takes like 30 seconds.

The easy/fast way is to take out the pop-rivets on the *passenger* side leg compartment.

It is behind the radio, but you don't need to touch the radio, or do *anything* on the driver side. Everything is accessible after removing the passenger side kick panel.
