Help!!!!! Exhaust question

Everyone I just got a custom glass pack exhaust put on and I fear it may be too loud. I mean the tone sounds great and I dont mind the noise, I am just worried about getting tickets. Has anyone ever had any problems with having a mega loud exhaust?
Also what are my options for quieting it down. Is there anyway I can make or buy a type of sliencer that I can take on and off when I want it loud or muffled?
Finally, does anyone know if these glass pack exhausts can pass a state inspection? The mechancic says probably but my friends say no it wont. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Hey super moderator, i did read all of that stuff and it did not mention one sngle thing about glass pack exhausts, silencing exhausts or people who had had problems with law enforcement because of overly loud exhausts.
I did think it was interesting reading the debates about wether to buy a greddy or borla for my non existent probe. Just kidding.
