IMHO this is the best looking kit for the mx-6. My question is why doesnt anyone use this kit, or even mention it? Is it because no one knows about it? Is it poor quality or something wrong with it? i am most likely going to buy this kit in the next couple months but if theres something wrong with it i would like to know. for all of you who dont know about it go to www.pakfeifer.com you can figure it out from there. I know it looks a lot like a shogun but its like an updated shogun...better. the front bumper doesnt protrude at the top, instead its all even. the skirts are exactly teh same. the bumper is wicked looking. and the spoiler is completely original.

this is true. from that website the price is 1600 with shipping and handeling. but i found that on illicit-racing.com its only a 1000 which is still 400 more then the other kits. so...yeah...it is pricey but it's still a wicked kit. and worth the money to me.

Im sure its cause it is a fairly new kit and comes with a full rear bumper instead of aprons. All I want is the rear bumper. Theres a kid near hear with the front lip and it has way too big of a mouth. His was about three inches wider and taller then the mouth on my shogun nose. Plus it sat up too damn high.

Yeah...Um, I went to Pakeifer and all I see is a kit for the 626 SE V6. I thought there was sposed to be a kit for the 1G (88-92) MX6? This site is confusing!!!
Well, this is actually the 2nd gen (93-97) appearance forum, so that would probably contribute to your confusion. If you want to look at appearance mods for your car, you might want to check out the 1g forum for those.

stock89MX-6 you want the kit for the 626 2 door. This company is german based, so I don't think they call it an mx6. I believe the front and rear fit perfect, and you may need slight modification to the side skirts

Well, I am unsure about why it costs so much. I know that it IS NOT urathane, which really bummed me out :( I thought that it was and figured that that was the reason for the price, but it is fiberglass. I want a urathane kit for the 6. But the pakfeifer kit is most deff. the coolest one out for the 6. When it is on a 6 without a wing, it kinda looks like a new corvette. Anyways, just wanted to let everyone know its not urathane. One day. One day.

Sorry you think this looks good?

Maybe go back to playing need for speed underground ricer edition. That is the worst thing I have seen for the MX6, let alone a Mazda in my life. Plus with a little searching you will find that there are many fittment issues.

You know what they say about opinions and buttholes..............

There are quite a few different kits out there, if there is one that you prefer then I'm sure there are people out there who would feel the same way about it as you do this one. Everyone has their own style, well mostly everyone... But, I'm sure we all appreciate your input. Thank you.@-

way to go you floated a year old thread to make an idiotic remark:tup:

the pak kit is awesome looking. Just ignore the spoiler, who ever designed it was definatly drunk/stoned at the time.

I didn't get the wing, I don't care for it either, it's too blah for me and someone else started replying to that old *ss thread, I was just sticking up for myself. So :OP. :D The only other kit I was seriously considering was the Blitz, but noone had a complete kit, just the front with the rest BC parts. I'm happy witht the style of this kit though. It really is a gorgeous design, they should've painted the screening a different color on the photos from the website though, it makes the openings seem huge when they aren't. I am planning on powdercoating mine(screening) so it won't be so obnoxious.
